It is hard to take a lead into half time when your team commits 11 first half turnovers. And it is hard to come back when you follow this with a half shooting only 20% from the field. This was the reality for the Cougars as they faced the Rams in the finale of Saturday night's quad games at the high school. Despite this, HMB closed to within 1 point with 14 seconds left in the game on a Lukas Meighan trey. The Cougars then forced a turnover to give it the ball with 9 seconds remaining and an opportunity for the win. In the final possession, they had 3 shots, but as was the case for much of the night, none fell. Westmoor held on for the victory. HMB's next three games will be on the road beginning with Tuesday's 5:30 pm tip at El Camino.
