Led by 17 from senior guard, Sam Treanor, in three quarters of play, twelve Cougars contributed points towards the effort. The Half Moon Bay JV team pulled out to an early lead in their victory over South San Francisco winning 54-23. The Cougars again played great team defense, good help, and stole the ball 11 times, many of them resulting in points on turnovers. HMB was also very active on the boards, including 14 offensive rebounds. Justin Africano (10) led the scoring for SSF, while Ben McKnight (16 points) and Sean Kennedy (15 points) logged the most points for HMB. Logging the most assists were Sean Ediger (7 assists) and Mykola Ediger (4 assists), while Sean Kennedy (7 rebounds) led in rebounds. Sean Ediger (4) and Sean Kennedy (4) were the disrupters leading in steals.
