Cougars finish up Monterey Peninsula trip with another win

The Cougars started a bit slowly last night against the Carmel Padres leading the host team only 12-11 after one quarter. But, after that the Cougars rolled to a very easy victory giving up only 5 points the REST OF THE GAME, including just 2 IN THE SECOND HALF. Yes, you read that correctly. Final score HMB 56 and Carmel 16.

The Cougars were led by Case DuFrane's 11 points and 11 of 13 players getting into the scoring column, including a season high 9 points from sophomore Ryan Yerby.

The Cougars improve to 9-0 with 2 games remaining this week against last year's runner-up DIV. 4 CCS champion Harker Academy of San Jose this Friday night @ home (7pm tipoff) and last year's runner-up Div. 1 CCS champion Menlo-Atherton Bears on the road this Saturday night (6:30pm tipoff).
