CCS Sportsmanship game tonight @ HOME

The first game of the season is tonight vs. the St. Ignatius Wildcats in the CCS Sportsmanship contest. All gate receipts tonight go to fund end of year scholarships that CCS awards to outstanding scholars and athletes. Tonight's game is a 730p tipoff. Last year the Cougars squeaked out a very tight game 55-52 at SI. Both teams enjoyed great success during last seasons' campaigns. The Wildcats finished tied with Serra for 2nd place in the WCAL and the Cougars enjoyed their best season in school history, as they advanced to the semi-finals of NORCALS, recording 2 wins in NORCALS for the first time in school history.
Tonight's game should be exciting as well. Both teams will be missing a few players. Tommy Nuno of the Cougars is out sick and will not be able to play tonight. The Wildcats will be missing 3 Seniors from the team that star on their football team, who are getting ready to play for the CCS Div. 3 championship. They are Dominic Burke, Eddie Hagan and Dylan Elder, all 3 of those young men I have had the great opportunity to coach at the Olympic Club AAU program in San Francisco.
Come out and support both teams as they try and duplicate last years' successes.

GO COUGARS!
